Narrated Anas: The Prophet offered the Fajr Prayer near Khaibar when it was still dark and then said, "Allahu-Akbar! Khaibar is destroyed, for whenever we approach a (hostile) nation (to fight), then evil will be the morning for those who have been warned". Then the inhabitants of Khaibar came out running on the roads. The Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives. Safiya was amongst the captives, She first came in the share of Dahya Alkali but later on she belonged to the Prophet . The Prophet made her manumission as her 'Mahr'.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a battle that took place between the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the people of Khaibar. It is narrated by Anas ibn Malik that when they approached a hostile nation to fight, they were warned by the Prophet ﷺ in his prayer before dawn. When they did not heed his warning, he ordered for their warriors to be killed and for their women and children to be taken as captives. One of these captives was Safiya who eventually became part of the share of Dahya Alkali but later on belonged to the Prophet ﷺ himself. He then granted her manumission as her 'Mahr'. This hadith teaches us about justice, mercy, courage and wisdom in times of war or conflict. It also shows us how important it is to listen to warnings from those wiser than us so we can avoid unnecessary suffering or destruction.
