Taking the Ridwan Pledge of Allegiance

SUMMARY: The Prophet took the Ridwan Pledge of allegiance from his companions at a tree.

Narrated Tariq: (The tree where the Ridwan Pledge of allegiance was taken by the Prophet) was mentioned before Sa'id bin Al-Musaiyab. On that he smiled and said, "My father informed me (about it) and he had witnessed it (ie the Pledge) ".
حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ طَارِقٍ، قَالَ ذُكِرَتْ عِنْدَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ الشَّجَرَةُ فَضَحِكَ فَقَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي وَكَانَ، شَهِدَهَا‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the time when Prophet Muhammad took a pledge of allegiance from his companions at a tree. This pledge was known as the Ridwan Pledge, and it was taken to show that all those who were present accepted and agreed to follow the teachings of Islam. Sa'id bin Al-Musaiyab, who heard this story from his father, smiled when he heard it because he had witnessed this event himself. This hadith teaches us that we should always be loyal to our faith and accept its teachings wholeheartedly. We should also strive to spread its message so that others can benefit from it too.
