QUICK LESSONS:
Keep your promises and be loyal to your commitments

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a group of people who gave their pledge to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ under a tree. It was narrated by Abdullah bin Abi 'Aufa that there were 1300 people in total and 1/8th were from Bani Aslam. This hadith teaches us that it is important to keep our promises and be loyal to our commitments. It also shows us how much importance Prophet Muhammad ﷺ placed on loyalty and trustworthiness as he asked his followers to give their pledge under a tree. We should strive to be trustworthy and honest in all our dealings with others just like these companions did when they pledged their allegiance to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
