The Fear Prayer of the Prophet (ﷺ).

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) led his Companions in the Fear Prayer at a place called Dhi-Qarad.

Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (ra): The Prophet led his Companions in the Fear Prayer in the seventh Ghazwa ie the Ghazwa of Dhat-ur-Riqa. Ibn Abbas said, "The Prophet offered the Fear Prayer at a place called Dhi-Qarad".
وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهما أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى بِأَصْحَابِهِ فِي الْخَوْفِ فِي غَزْوَةِ السَّابِعَةِ غَزْوَةِ ذَاتِ الرِّقَاعِ‏.‏ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ الْخَوْفَ بِذِي قَرَدٍ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Fear Prayer that was led by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ during one of his Ghazwas, which is a type of battle or military expedition. It took place at a place called Dhat ur Riqa and then later on at another place called Dhik Qard. This prayer was done to ask Allah for protection from any harm or danger that may come upon them during their journey and battle. It teaches us to always be mindful of Allah and seek His protection in all our endeavors, no matter how small or big they may be. We should also remember to make dua for ourselves and others whenever we are faced with difficulty or danger, as this will help us stay safe from harm's way.
