Sahih al-Bukhari 4117 (Book 64, Hadith 161) #3936
The Command to Fight Banu Quraiza

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) was commanded by Gabriel to go and fight against the Banu Quraiza tribe.

Narrated 'Aisha: When the Prophet returned from Al-Khandaq (ie Trench) and laid down his arms and took a bath, Gabriel came and said (to the Prophet ), You have laid down your arms? By Allah, we angels have not laid them down yet. So set out for them". The Prophet said, "Where to go?" Gabriel said, "Towards this side," pointing towards Banu Quraiza. So the Prophet went out towards them.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's journey to fight against the Banu Quraiza tribe. It is narrated by Aisha that when the Prophet returned from Al-Khandaq and took a bath, Gabriel came and asked why he had laid down his arms. He then commanded him to go towards them, pointing towards Banu Quraiza. So the Prophet went out towards them in obedience of God's commandment. This hadith teaches us that we should always be obedient to God's commands even if it means going into battle or facing difficult situations. We should also have faith in God that He will protect us no matter what happens and trust Him with our lives as He knows best what is good for us.
