EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) warns us about the consequences of being violent, impertinent and proud. He said that these three traits will lead to one's entrance into Hell. Violence is defined as physical or verbal harm done to another person or group of people. Impertinence is defined as a lack of respect for authority or other people in general. Lastly, pride is an excessive feeling of self-importance which can lead to arrogance and haughtiness towards others. All three traits are considered sins in Islam and should be avoided at all costs if one wishes to stay away from Hellfire in the afterlife. This hadith serves as a reminder for us all that we should strive to treat others with kindness and respect while avoiding any form of violence or prideful behavior so that we may attain salvation on Judgment Day.
