Wrath of Allah for Harming the Prophet

SUMMARY: Allah's wrath is severe on those who cause harm to the Prophet and those who are killed in Allah's cause.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Allah's Wrath became severe on him whom the Prophet had killed in Allah's Cause. Allah's Wrath became severe on the people who caused the face of Allah's Prophet to bleed.
حَدَّثَنِي مَخْلَدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأُمَوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ اشْتَدَّ غَضَبُ اللَّهِ عَلَى مَنْ قَتَلَهُ النَّبِيُّ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، اشْتَدَّ غَضَبُ اللَّهِ عَلَى قَوْمٍ دَمَّوْا وَجْهَ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the wrath of Allah that will befall upon anyone who causes harm to the Prophet or is killed in His cause. The hadith mentions that even causing a minor injury such as making his face bleed will incur His wrath. This shows how much respect and reverence we should have for our beloved prophet, Muhammad ﷺ, and how we should strive to protect him from any kind of harm or disrespect. We must also remember that if we are willing to sacrifice our lives for His cause, He will reward us with His mercy and grace.
