This hadith is about the importance of praying to Allah for a true life in the hereafter. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that we should always strive to live a life that will be rewarded by Allah in the afterlife. He also taught us that our ultimate goal should be to seek eternal bliss and salvation from Allah, which can only be achieved through living a righteous and pious life here on earth. We must remember that this world is temporary and our real home lies beyond it, so we must strive to make sure our actions are pleasing to Allah so we can attain His mercy and grace in the hereafter.
