Having Good Expectations from Allah

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) advised his followers to have good expectations from Allah before they die.

Jabir bin 'Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Prophet saying three days before his death: "Let none of you die unless he has good expectations from Allah". Muslim.
وعن جابر بن عبد الله، رضي الله عنهما ، أنه سمع النبي، ، قبل موته بثلاثة أيام يقول ‏:‏ لا يموتن أحدكم إلا وهو يحسن الظن بالله عز وجل‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

This hadith encourages us to stay positive and keep striving towards a better life even when faced with death or difficult times. It reminds us that no matter how hard things may seem, there is still hope if we put our trust in God's plan for us.
