Believe sincerely in God & His messenger; obey God's commands; spread glad tidings of salvation through sincere belief; do good works & actions even after having sincere belief .
This hadith explains the importance of believing in Allah and His Messenger, Muhammad ﷺ. It tells us that if we sincerely believe in them with our hearts, then we will be safeguarded from Hell. However, it also warns us against relying on this belief alone as a way of avoiding sinning; instead we should continue to do good works as well. The hadith also mentions Mu'adh bin Jabal who was riding with the Prophet ﷺ when he heard this teaching. He was so excited by what he heard that he wanted to share it with others so they could have glad tidings too! But the Prophet ﷺ warned him against doing so because people might rely on their faith alone without doing any good deeds at all.
