This hadith teaches us about the importance of honesty and cheerfulness when giving charity. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that an honest Muslim trustee who carries out their duties assigned to them and gives with a cheerful heart is one of the two givers of charity. Being honest means being trustworthy and reliable in fulfilling our obligations. It also means being truthful in our words and actions. Being cheerful when giving charity means having a generous spirit without expecting anything in return or feeling burdened by it.
