Dedicate oneself entirely to prayer and supplication during Ramadan .

During the last ten days of Ramadan, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would stay up all night in prayer and supplication. He would also keep his family awake for these prayers. To show his dedication to this spiritual practice, he would tie his lower garment - meaning he avoided sleeping with his wives - so that he could devote himself entirely to prayer and supplication.
