QUICK LESSONS:
Perform wudu before praying salat

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of performing ablution before prayer. It was narrated by Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba that he helped the Prophet ﷺ in performing ablution and he passed his wet hands over his Khuffs and prayed. This shows us that it is important to perform wudu, which includes washing our face, arms, head and feet with water, before we pray salat. We should also pass our wet hands over our khuffs which are leather socks worn by Muslims during prayer or when travelling for a long distance. This hadith teaches us to be mindful of cleanliness when we pray as it is an act of worship towards Allah SWT.
