Angels and Images

SUMMARY: Angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image of a living creature.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Abu Talha, a companion of Allah's Messenger and one of those who fought at Badr together with Allah's Apostle told me that Allah's Messenger said".Angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture" He meant the images of creatures that have souls.

QUICK LESSONS:
Keep your house clean from any impurities such as dogs or images of living creatures

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that angels do not enter a house if there is either a dog or an image of any living creature inside. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that angels are pure and holy beings, so they cannot be in the presence of anything impure. Dogs are considered impure animals according to Islamic teachings, so they should not be kept inside the home. Similarly, images of living creatures should also not be kept inside the home as it can lead to idolatry and shirk which is forbidden in Islam. Therefore, we must keep our homes clean from any impurities such as dogs or images of living creatures so that angels may come into our homes and bless us with peace and tranquility.
