The Importance of the 'Isha' Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) disliked going to bed before the 'Isha' prayer and engaging in conversation after it.

Abu Barzah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah disliked going to bed before the 'Isha' (night) prayer and indulging in conversation after it". Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
عن أبي برزة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله كان يكره النوم قبل العشاء والحديث بعدها‏.‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
