Passing Away Without Offspring

SUMMARY: Abu Zaid, a Badr warrior, passed away without leaving any offspring.

Narrated Anas: Abu Zaid died and did not leave any offspring, and he was one of the Badr warriors.
حَدَّثَنِي خَلِيفَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ مَاتَ أَبُو زَيْدٍ وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ عَقِبًا، وَكَانَ بَدْرِيًّا‏.‏
