QUICK LESSONS:
Conduct business dealings ethically and with integrity
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith of Abu Qatadah states that excessive swearing in sale should be avoided. This is because while it may promote trade and business, it will also eliminate the blessing associated with such transactions. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was warning us against this practice as he wanted us to benefit from our trades and businesses while also being blessed by Allah SWT for our efforts. We can learn from this hadith that we should always strive to conduct our business dealings ethically and with integrity so that we can reap the rewards of both worlds - worldly success and spiritual blessings.
