QUICK LESSONS:
Keep your promises/oaths even if it means sacrificing something else for its sake .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ teaches us that swearing by trust is not allowed in Islam. It is considered a major sin and should be avoided at all costs. Swearing by trust means to swear an oath or promise to someone that you will do something and then break it. This goes against the teachings of Islam which emphasize honesty and truthfulness in all matters. Therefore, it is important for Muslims to remember this hadith when making any promises or oaths so as to ensure they are kept and not broken.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us that if we make a promise or an oath, we must keep it no matter what the cost may be because breaking a promise or an oath can have serious consequences both in this life and the hereafter. We must always strive to keep our word even if it means sacrificing something else for its sake because Allah rewards those who are truthful and honest with their promises and oaths.
