QUICK LESSONS:
Avoid having dogs or portraits inside your house
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of the decorations we have in our homes. We should not have any dogs or portraits inside our houses as it will prevent the angels from entering. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was teaching us to keep our homes clean and free from anything that could potentially cause harm or discomfort to others. He wanted us to create an environment where everyone feels safe and comfortable. This hadith also teaches us about respect for animals as well as respect for ourselves by avoiding having images of ourselves displayed in our homes.
