The Consequences of Painting Living Objects

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) warned that those who paint living objects will receive the most severe punishment from Allah on the Day of Resurrection.

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying, "Those who will receive the most severe punishment from Allah on the Day of Resurrection will be painters (of living objects)". Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
وعن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ سمعت رسول الله يقول‏:‏ ‏ "‏إن أشد الناس عذابًا يوم القيامة المصورون‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
