Praying in Unconventional Positions

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed while 'Aisha was lying on the bed between him and his Qibla.

Narrated 'Aisha: Allah Apostle prayed while I was lying like a dead body on his family bed between him and his Qibla.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَهْىَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ عَلَى فِرَاشِ أَهْلِهِ، اعْتِرَاضَ الْجَنَازَةِ‏.‏
