Waiting for Victory from Allah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would wait until the sun had declined, the breeze had blown and Allah's victory was certain before engaging in battle.

An-Nu'man bin Muqarrin (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I was with the Messenger of Allah when I witnessed that if he did not begin fighting in the early part of the day, he would postpone fighting till the sun had declined, the blowing of the breeze had blown and the victory from Allah had come. Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi.

QUICK LESSONS:
Have faith in God’s plan and take your time when making decisions .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of patience and faith in God. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) waited until he was sure that victory would come from God before engaging in battle. He did not rush into a fight without being certain that it was the right thing to do, but instead trusted that God would provide a successful outcome if it was meant to happen. This teaches us to have faith in God's plan and not rush into things without thinking them through carefully first. It also shows us how important it is to take our time when making decisions, as rushing can lead us astray or cause us harm if we don't think things through properly first. We should always strive for patience and trust in God's plan for our lives, no matter what situation we find ourselves in.
