QUICK LESSONS:
Fast for one day in the cause of Allah

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the rewards that come with fasting for one day in the cause of Allah. According to this hadith, if a person fasts for one day in the cause of Allah then they will be kept away from hellfire by a distance equivalent to seventy years. This means that if someone fasts and does it solely for God's sake then they will be rewarded greatly and protected from punishment on judgement day. It is important to note that fasting should not be done out of obligation or fear but rather out of love and devotion towards God as this is what brings true reward. Additionally, it teaches us about how merciful God is and how He rewards those who are devoted to Him even with something as small as fasting one day.
