The Importance of Archery in Islam

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that those who learn archery and then neglect it are not following his teachings.

'Uqbah bin 'Amir Al-Juhani (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah said, "He who learnt archery and then neglected it, is not from us". (Or said,) "He has been guilty of disobedience (to Messenger of Allah)". Muslim.
وعنه أنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله
