Supplication for Strength and Help in Jihad

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) supplicated to Allah for strength and help when he went out to fight in Jihad.

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Whenever the Messenger of Allah set out to participate in Jihad, he would supplicate: "Allahumma Anta 'adudi wa nasiri, bika ahulu, wa bika asulu, wa bika uqatilu (O Allah, You are my Supporter and my Helper. With Your help I get strength, and with Your help I bounce upon the enemy and defeat it, and with Your help I fight)". Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the supplication of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ when he set out to participate in jihad. He would pray to Allah, asking Him for strength and help. This teaches us that we should always turn to Allah in times of difficulty, as He is our supporter and helper. We should also strive hard against evil with His help, as this was a major part of the Prophet's mission on earth. Furthermore, it shows us that even though we may feel weak or powerless at times, if we rely on Allah's support then He will give us strength and courage to face any challenge that comes our way.
