The House of Martyrs

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was taken in a dream to a beautiful house, which he was told belonged to the martyrs.

Samurah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah said, "Last night two men (angels) came to me (in a dream) and made me ascend a tree and then admitted me into a nice and excellent house, the like of which I have never seen before. One of them said: 'This house is the house of martyrs'". Al- Bukhari.
وعن سمرة رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله ‏:‏ “رأيت الليلة رجلين أتياني فصعدا بي الشجرة وأدخلاني دارًا هي أحسن وأفضل، لم أر قط أحسن منها، قال أما هذه الدار فدار الشهداء‏"‏
