Sahih al-Bukhari 3951 (Book 64, Hadith 3) #3778
Unexpectedly Meeting Enemies

SUMMARY: Allah caused Muslims to meet their enemy unexpectedly, and no one was blamed for not taking part in the Battle of Badr.

Narrated Ka'b bin Malik: I never failed to join Allah's Messenger in any of his ghazwah ( Battle ) except in the Ghazwa of Tabuk. However, I did not take part in the Ghazwa of Badr, but none who failed to take part in it, was blamed, for Allah's Messenger had gone out to meet the caravans of (Quraish, but Allah caused them (ie Muslims) to meet their enemy unexpectedly (with no previous intention) .

QUICK LESSONS:
Have faith in God's will, Stay humble and accept mistakes without blaming others or ourselves too harshly .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how Allah caused the Muslims to meet their enemies unexpectedly during the Ghazwa of Tabuk. No one was blamed for not taking part in the Battle of Badr, as Allah's Messenger had gone out to meet caravans from Quraish but ended up meeting their enemies instead. This teaches us that we should always be prepared for unexpected events and have faith that whatever happens is according to God's will. We should also remember that it is important to stay humble and accept our mistakes without blaming others or ourselves too harshly.
