The Blessings of Eating with a Fasting Person

SUMMARY: Eating with someone who is fasting will bring blessings from Allah.

Umm 'Umarah Al-Ansariyah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Once the Prophet visited us and I served him some food. He asked me to eat. I replied that I was observing (optional) fast. He said, "When people eat by a person observing fast, the angels keep asking Allah's forgiveness for that person until they have had their fill". At-Tirmidhi.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that when we eat with someone who is observing fast, the angels will ask for forgiveness for that person until they have had their fill. This means that by eating together, we can bring blessings to each other and to ourselves. It also teaches us the importance of being generous and kind to others, even if it’s something as simple as sharing a meal. We should always remember that our actions have an effect on those around us and strive to do good deeds whenever possible.
