QUICK LESSONS:
Observe regular fasts throughout the year

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As states that observing Saum or fasting on three days of every month is equivalent to a full month's fasting. This means that if one fasts on three days out of the thirty or thirty-one days in a given month, it will be equal to the reward and benefit one would receive from fasting an entire month. This hadith encourages Muslims to observe regular fasts throughout the year as it can bring great rewards and blessings from Allah Almighty. It also teaches us about moderation and balance in our religious practices as we should not overburden ourselves with too much worship but rather strive for consistency in our faith journey.
