Presenting Deeds While Fasting

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) advised that it is best to present one's deeds to Allah while fasting.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah said, "Deeds of people are presented (to Allah) on Mondays and Thursdays. So I like that my actions be presented while I am fasting". At-Tirmidhi.
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن رسول الله قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏ تعرض الأعمال يوم الاثنين والخميس، فأحب أن يعرض عملي وأنا صائم‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه الترمذي وقال‏:‏ حديث حسن، ورواه مسلم بغير ذكر الصوم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, teaches us the importance of fasting and presenting our deeds to Allah. According to the hadith, Mondays and Thursdays are days when people’s deeds are presented before God. Therefore, it is best for a person to present their actions while they are fasting as this will increase their chances of being accepted by God. This hadith also encourages us to fast regularly as it can help us in our spiritual journey and bring us closer to God. Additionally, this hadith reminds us that all our actions should be done with the intention of pleasing God so that we can receive His blessings in return.
