Fasting in the Middle of Sha'ban

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) advised against fasting in the middle of Sha'ban.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah said, "When there comes the middle of Sha'ban, don't observe Saum (fasting)". At-Tirmidhi.
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله ‏ "‏إذا بقي نصف من شعبان فلا تصوموا‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن صحيح‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
