EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrated by Aishah bint Abu Bakr as Siddiq may Allah be pleased with her tells us about the nightly rituals of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Whenever he was awoken from sleep at night he would brush his teeth using a Miswak - a tooth stick made from twigs or roots of certain trees - then make Wudu', which is the ritual washing before prayer in Islam. After that he would perform Salat - the obligatory prayers that are performed five times daily by Muslims. This hadith teaches us about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in our lives and how we should take care of our bodies even when we are tired or sleepy. It also shows us how devoted the Prophet ﷺ was to his faith and how important it was for him to always stay connected to God through prayer no matter what time it was or what condition he was in.
