This hadith is about a practice that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to do during the month of Ramadan. He would observe a spiritual retreat called I’tikāf for 10 days, which is when one stays in a mosque and dedicates their time solely for worshiping Allah. During this time, he would encourage people to seek out Laylat al Qadr, which is known as “The Night Of Power” or “The Night Of Destiny”. It is believed that on this night, all prayers are answered and sins are forgiven if one seeks forgiveness from Allah sincerely.
