The Prophet's (ﷺ) Pre-Asr Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform two Rak'ah before the 'Asr prayer.

'Ali bin Abu Talib (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet used to perform two Rak'ah before the 'Asr prayer. Abu Dawud.
وعن علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه أن النبي كان يصلي قبل العصر ركعتين‏.‏‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

According to this hadith narrated by Ali bin Abu Talib, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to perform two Rak'ah before the 'Asr prayer.
