The Prophet's Prayer Routine

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) always prayed four Rak'ah before the Zuhr prayer and two Rak'ah before the Fajr prayer.

'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Prophet never omitted four Rak'ah prayer before the Zuhr prayer and two Rak'ah prayers before dawn (Fajr) prayer. Al- Bukhari.
عن عائشة رضي الله عنها، أن النبي كان لا يدع أربعًا قبل الظهر، وركعتين قبل الغداة ‏(‏‏(‏رواه البخاري‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about the Prophet Muhammad's prayer routine. He would always pray four Rak'ah before the Zuhr prayer and two Rak'ah before the Fajr prayer. These prayers are known as Nafl prayers which are voluntary and not obligatory like other prayers such as Fajr or Maghrib. However, they are still important because they were part of the sunnah of our beloved prophet Muhammad ﷺ. By following his example we can gain rewards from Allah SWT for our good deeds in this life and in the hereafter. It is also important to note that these prayers should be done with sincerity and devotion to Allah SWT so that we can reap its full benefits.
