The Rewards of Wudu and Praying in Congregation

SUMMARY: This hadith encourages Muslims to perform wudu thoroughly, walk with more paces to the mosque, and wait for the next prayer after observing salat.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah said, "Shall I not tell you something by which Allah effaces the sins and elevates ranks (in Jannah)?" The Companions said; "Certainly, O Messenger of Allah". He said, "Performing the Wudu' thoroughly in spite of difficult circumstances, walking with more paces to the mosque, and waiting for the next As- Salat (the prayer) after observing Salat; and that is Ar-Ribat, and that is Ar-Ribat". Muslim.
وعنه أن رسول الله قال ألا أدلكم على ما يمحو الله به الخطايا ويرفع به الدرجات قالوا بلى يارسول الله قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏إسباغ الوضوء على المكاره، وكثرة الخطا إلى المساجد، وانتظار الصلاة بعد الصلاة، فذلكم الرباط، فذلكم الرباط‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
