The Messenger of Allah's Last Illness

SUMMARY: Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was feeling better when he visited him during his last illness.

Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: When 'Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) came out after visiting the Messenger of Allah during his last illness, the people asked: "How is Messenger of Allah , O Abul-Hasan?'' He replied: "Praise be to Allah, he is feeling better'.' Al-Bukhari.
عن ابن عباس، رضي الله عنهما، أن علي بن أبي طالب، رضي الله عنه خرج من عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، في وجعه الذي توفي فيه فقال الناس‏:‏ يا أبا الحسن كيف أصبح رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏؟‏ قال‏:‏ أصبح بحمد الله بارئاً‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه البخاري‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the last illness of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It was narrated by Ibn 'Abbas and Ali, may Allah be pleased with them both. When people asked how the Prophet ﷺ was doing, Ali replied that he was feeling better, praising God for it. This hadith teaches us to always remain hopeful in times of difficulty and to thank God for any improvement we experience in our lives. We should also remember to pray for those who are ill or suffering from any hardship, as this is a great act of kindness and mercy towards others.
