Greeting Family with Peace

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) advised Anas bin Malik to greet his family with peace when entering his home, as it will bring blessings to both him and his family.

Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah said to me, "Dear son, when you enter your house, say As- Salamu 'Alaikum to your family, for it will be a blessing both to you and to your family". At-Tirmidhi, who classified it as Hasan Sahih.
وعن أنس رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال لي رسول الله ‏:‏ ‏ "‏يا بُني، إذا دخلت على أهلك، فسلم، يكن بركة عليك، وعلى أهل بيتك‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه الترمذي وقال‏:‏ حديث حسن صحيح‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
