Greeting with Respect

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) would come at night and offer greetings in a manner that did not disturb those asleep.

Al-Miqdad (May Allah be pleased with him) reported in a long Hadith: We used to reserve for the Prophet his share of the milk, and he would come at night and offer greetings in such a manner as did not disturb those asleep and was heard only by those who were awake. In fact, the Prophet came and offered greetings as usual. Muslim.

QUICK LESSONS:
Offer greetings in a respectful manner without disturbing others who are sleeping.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was known for his exemplary manners and respect for others. This hadith highlights the importance of greeting people with respect, even during the night when most people are asleep. It is reported that the Prophet ﷺ would come at night and offer greetings in such a manner as to not disturb those who were sleeping, but only be heard by those who were awake. This shows us how important it is to be mindful of others when we interact with them, even if it's something as simple as offering a greeting. We should always strive to show respect and courtesy towards one another, no matter what time of day or night it may be.
