The Glad Tidings of Dreams

SUMMARY: Dreams can be a source of glad tidings.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah said, "All that is left from Prophethood is the glad tidings". He was asked what the glad tidings were, and he said, "The good dream". Al-Bukhari.
وعن أبى هريرة رضى الله عنه قال‏:‏ سمعت رسول الله يقول‏:‏ ‏"‏لم يبق من النبوة إلا المبشرات‏"‏ قالوا‏:‏ وما المبشرات‏؟‏ قال‏:‏ ‏"‏الرؤيا الصالحة‏"‏ (( رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيُّ))‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
According to the hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him), Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said that all that is left from Prophethood is the glad tidings. When asked what these glad tidings were, he replied that it was the good dream. This hadith teaches us that dreams can be a source of joy and hope for us in our lives. It also reminds us to always remain hopeful and optimistic about our future as we never know when we might receive some good news through our dreams. Furthermore, this hadith also encourages us to pay attention to our dreams and interpret them in order to gain insight into what lies ahead for us in life.
