TOPICS
seating  *  respect  *  courtesy

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect other people's seating; Show kindness towards those around you; Allow someone else the chance to sit down when there are limited spots available; Think about how your actions affect others

Avoid : Taking away someone else’s seat without asking them first or without their permission

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith reported by Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) states that if someone leaves their seat for any reason and returns to it, they are entitled to keep it. This hadith teaches us the importance of respect and courtesy when dealing with others. We should not take away someone else’s seat without asking them first or without their permission. Even if we have been away from our seat for a short period of time, we should still be allowed to return and reclaim our spot. This hadith also encourages us to think about how our actions affect others and how we can show kindness towards those around us in small ways such as giving up our seats when needed or allowing someone else the chance to sit down when there are limited spots available.
