Sahih al-Bukhari 3901 (Book 63, Hadith 126) #3729
Praying for Victory Against Disbelievers

SUMMARY: Sa'd prayed to Allah for victory against those who disbelieved the Prophet and drove him out of his city.

Narrated Aisha: Sa'd said, "O Allah! You know that there is none against whom I am eager to fight more willingly for Your Cause than those people who disbelieved Your Apostle and drove him out (of his city). O Allah! I think that You have ended the fight between us and them".

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray to God when facing difficult situations or enemies

EXPLANATIONS:
Sa'd was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. He was eager to fight those who had driven the Prophet out of his city and disbelieved in him. So he prayed to Allah for victory against them. This hadith teaches us that we should always turn to Allah in prayer when we are facing difficult situations or enemies, as He is the only one who can grant us success and victory. We should also have faith that whatever happens is from Allah's will, and that He will always provide us with what is best for us in this life and the hereafter.
