This hadith is about the drinking habits of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It was reported by 'Amr bin Shu'aib on the authority of his father and grandfather that they saw Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) drink while standing or sitting. This hadith shows us that it is permissible to drink while either standing or sitting according to Islamic teachings. It also teaches us that we should follow in the footsteps of our beloved prophet and practice what he practiced in our daily lives. We should strive to emulate his example as much as possible so that we can become closer to Allah and His teachings.
