Drink clean & safe water; Respect food & drinks; Take care of hygiene while consuming food & drinks; Show gratitude towards Allah Almighty's gifts

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to drink water in a respectful and hygienic manner. He forbade us from turning the water-skin upside down and drinking directly from its mouth. This is because when the water-skin is turned upside down, dirt and dust can enter into it which can make the water impure and unhealthy to drink. Therefore, we should always take care to ensure that our drinking water is clean and safe for consumption. We should also remember that we should respect all things related to food or drink as they are gifts of Allah Almighty which must not be taken for granted or abused in any way.
