The Reward and Punishment of Guidance

SUMMARY: Whoever calls people to the right path will be rewarded, and whoever calls people to the wrong path will be punished.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever calls people to true guidance, will have a reward equal to that of those who follow him, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest. And whoever calls people to misguidance, will have a (burden of) sin equal to that of those who follow him, without that detracting from their sins in the slightest'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Call people to true guidance
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the reward and punishment for calling people to true guidance or misguidance. It was narrated by Abu Huraira that Prophet Muhammad said that whoever calls people to true guidance, they will receive a reward equal to those who follow them without detracting from their own reward. Similarly, if someone calls people towards misguidance, they will have a burden of sin equal to those who follow them without detracting from their sins in any way. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive for good deeds and call others towards righteousness as it is beneficial for both ourselves and those around us. On the other hand, we should avoid doing bad deeds or encouraging others towards wrongdoing as it can lead us into trouble with Allah Almighty.
