Pray for those who have passed away; Seek mercy from God; Forgive others; Seek forgiveness from God oneself.

This hadith is about asking Allah's forgiveness for others. It was narrated by Abu Huraira that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) informed his companions of the death of Negus, the king of Ethiopia, and asked them to ask Allah for forgiveness on his behalf.
