Stay true to your faith despite difficulty or opposition

This hadith is about a group called the Khawarij, who were Muslims but became disbelievers. According to this hadith, these people are considered to be some of the worst people in terms of their actions and beliefs, as they have gone against what was taught by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. They are also considered to be some of the best people in terms of their martyrdom for their beliefs, as they were willing to die for what they believed in even though it was wrong according to Islamic teachings. This hadith serves as a warning from Prophet Muhammad ﷺ against going astray from his teachings and becoming disbelievers like these people did. It also serves as an example for us all on how we should strive to stay true to our faith no matter what happens or how difficult it may seem at times.
