Avoiding Those Who Deny Allah's Decrees

SUMMARY: This hadith is about avoiding those who deny the decrees of Allah and not to greet them, visit them if they are sick or attend their funerals.

It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'The Magicians of this Ummah are those who deny the decrees of Allah. If they fall sick, do not visit them; if they die, do not attend their funerals; and if you meet them, do not greet them with Salam'."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّى الْحِمْصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ مَجُوسَ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ الْمُكَذِّبُونَ بِأَقْدَارِ اللَّهِ إِنْ مَرِضُوا فَلاَ تَعُودُوهُمْ وَإِنْ مَاتُوا فَلاَ تَشْهَدُوهُمْ وَإِنْ لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فَلاَ تُسَلِّمُوا عَلَيْهِمْ

This hadith is about avoiding those who deny the decrees of Allah. This hadith teaches us to stay away from people who do not believe in the teachings of Islam and instead focus on our own faith and beliefs. It also encourages us to be kind towards others even if we disagree with them, as it is important to respect other people’s opinions even if we do not agree with them.
