Consequences of Speaking About Divine Decree

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the consequences of speaking about the Divine Decree and how one should not do so.

'Abdullah bin Abi Mulaikah narrated that his father entered upon 'A'ishah and said something to her about the Divine Decree: She said: "I heard The Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever says anything about the Divine decree will be questioned about that on the Day of Resurrection, and whoever does not say anything about it will not be questioned about it'." QUICK LESSONS:
Be careful when discussing religious matters .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to us about the consequences of speaking about the divine decree. It warns us that if we speak on matters related to Allah's will, then we will be questioned on it in the Day of Resurrection. We should therefore be careful when discussing such matters and instead focus our attention on what is within our control - our own actions and deeds. This hadith also teaches us that it is better to remain silent than to speak without knowledge or understanding, as this can lead to confusion or even disbelief in Allah's power and wisdom.
