EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of learning faith before learning the Quran. It was narrated by Jundub bin 'Abdullah that he and his companions were with the Prophet ﷺ, and they were strong youths. The Prophet ﷺ taught them faith first, before teaching them about the Quran. After learning about both, their faith increased even more due to what they had learned from reading and understanding it. This hadith emphasizes how important it is for us to learn our religion first in order to understand what is written in our holy book better. It also shows us that we should not be afraid or ashamed of asking questions about our religion so that we can gain a better understanding of it as well as increase our knowledge and strengthen our beliefs in Allah SWT.
